PASTOR WILLIAM CRAIG
Elder William Craig was introduced to God at an early age by his mother and grandmother. Being raised by a single mother, William often found himself being drawn closer and closer to God through the hardships he saw his mom encounter but ultimately conquer. Under the leadership of the later Overseer Rosie Wallace, he learned the importance of prayer and having faith that God would always take care of his people. Overseer Wallace realized that he had a call on life and that is when he started preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Elder Craig was always encouraged to not just be a member but get involved in his church so he played the drums and was also the director of the youth choir. His love for music always kept him close to God and he feels that when the times got rough he always able to find a hymn to keep him grounded.
During his ministry years Elder Craig has served great ministries and leaders such as Bishop Kevin Morrison and Lighthouse Deliverance Temple, Apostle Ivory Jenkins and Greater Fountain of Praise, and currently Bishop Steven Walker and Abundant Life Healing Fellowship Church. Elder Craig believes that each ministry had a major impact on his life and helped to grow into the leader that he is today. His favorite scripture is Psalms 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all time: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”Elder Craig realized that the impact of his ministry was starting to draw young people in his direction and they were looking for authentic leadership. As these relationships continued to grow Elder Craig acknowledged the call to the Pastorate on his life and immediately sought the guidance of his leader Bishop Steven Walker. After a 2-year span of impartation and guidance the birth of Kingdom Deliverance Tabernacle took place. On Sunday May 5th, 2019 Bishop Walker laid his hands on Elder Craig in front of the congregation of righteous and released him to officially operate in the role of Lead Pastor of Kingdom Deliverance Tabernacle and on Saturday November the 9th he was officially installed! Elder Craig believes that there is Peace and Safety in the Sanctuary and his vision is to make sure Kingdom Deliverance Tabernacle is a “Safe Place For All To Worship.”
